Veteran Ghanaian comic and satirist Kwaku Sintim-Misa popularly known as KSM has incurred the wrath of Ghanaians with a simple question.
KSM wants to know why a seemingly all-knowing God has to test the faith of his own subject to know whether the subject believes in him or not.
The legendary comic was on Joy Fm when he raised questions about contradictions in the Bible.
KSM admitted that there are numerous wonderful passages in the Bible which he uses to inspire others but no one can tell him there are no mistakes in it.
Using the story of Abraham as an example, KSM said there is no way a God who knows the heart of everyone and knows everything in the universe would conduct a test to know whether Abraham truly believed in him or not.
He said per the Bible narration, God only knew Abraham had absolute faith after the test and that means he is not all knowing.
He said that is a contradiction since the same Bible says God is all knowing!
KSM said the Bible was written by humans so it’s understandable they make mistakes but people in Ghana think everything in the bible is factually correct which is not the case.
His comments have brought down a barrage of insults on him, but you can’t expect anything different from fundamentalist Ghanaian Christians.
