“The Ambulance Carrying Cement Was At Service Station” – PRO For National Ambulance Service Justifies Abnormality

The National Ambulance Service has given justification as to why one of their public vehicle was used to carry cement instead of bodies and sick people.

Yesterday, videos of people packing cement bags into an ambulance from Budumburam went viral on social media after a concerned citizen filmed the incident.

Reacting to the viral video, Public Relations Officer of the National Ambulance Service (NAS) Simmons Yussif Kewura has explained why the incident happened.

According to Simmons Yussif Kewura, the ambulance in the video was not in the care of NAS at the time of the viral video but in the hands of the suppliers who were required to service it under warranty.

He went on to say the NAS intend to report the suppliers to the police for subletting it to a private garage to be used to transport cement.

Simmons Yussif Kewura made this revelation on Citi FM on Tuesday evening.
