Founder and leader of Lighthouse Chapel International Bishop Dag Heward-Mills has been trending for days. It all has to do with audio of him slandering the Ashanti King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu.
In the audio, Dag said Otumfuo is leaving no legacy for his people and he is not so much of a wise king as he has not positively impacted the lives of his people, let alone the entire nation.
Following that, the Ashantis as expected have been fuming on social media, backlashing the man of God for his loose utterances which left him with no other option than to apologize.

Dag says he is sorry for what he said— he makes a u-turn on his words talking about the massive impact the king has brought to his people through innovative developmental projects.
He says the audio is from 20 years ago and would not say such things now. He begged that the people of Kumasi forgives him and rescind their decisions to burn down his churches in Kumasi.
“I am deeply saddened that a message I shared at a conference, nearly 20 years ago, has been taken out of its context and circulated by persons who have previously declared that they will maliciously cause our churches in Kumasi to be closed down,” the preacher said in his apology letter.”

Afia Schwar has reacted to the whole issue, according to her, Dag cannot just insult her King and go scot-free so there is a need for him to pay for what he said, even if it is two decades ago.
Her added cents has provoked her arch enemy Adu Sarfowaa to equally react. She says Dag is so much more and would not stand for someone as low as Afia Schwar to attack him and be disrespectful towards him.
She swears she would team up with members of his church to beat her up.
