Good news reaching us is that Efia Odo and the 12 Fix The Country protestors arrested earlier today have been granted bail.
Efia Odo was arrested for joining a protest that was staged at the Accra High Court after the judge adjourned its final verdict once again.
The actress was arrested together with some 12 campaigners for what many believed to be contempt of court.
Fix The Country campaigners have been pushing for the court to lift a restraining order which prevents them from protesting in the country.
Efia Odo and the others have finally been granted bail after the youth took to twitter to protest and heap pressure on authorities.
Ghanaian singer EFYA shared a video on the same medium to announce that the actress was a free bird at the moment.
Speaking after her release, Efia Odo said she was not manhandled and she was non of such happed to any of the 12 arrested.
She added that the police refused to tell them why they were arrested but they are free to go about their lives.
When asked if the arrest will scare her to give up the fight for a better Ghana, Efia Odo shouted that the arrest has rather given her the motivation she needs.
