“Mzbel Was a Popular Musician In Nigeria” – Tunde Ednut Shares Throwback Video Of Her “16-Years” Song

Retired Nigerian comedian turned Instagram blogger, Tunde Olaoluwa Adekunle popularly known as Tunde Ednut, has revealed Mzbel was one of the biggest Ghanaian Musicians in Nigeria.

Tunde Ednut shared a throwback video of one of the popular songs of Mzbel to eulogies the songstress.

She gained fame as The Goddess Of Ghana Music with her controversial music lyrics and comments that gets fans buzzing.

Mzbel has been in the music industry for several years and touted as one of the pacesetters who sacrificed blood and tears to open the opportunity for other female artists to step into the music industry.

Some of the hit songs Mzbel can brag of included, mama sweet, run away, yopoo, edey bee, awosume, slowing , the thing, saucy girl with the biggest being 16 years.

Tunde Ednut disclosed how Nigerians idolised Mzbel years back. To Prove his point, he shared a throwback video of Mzbel’s “16-years” and has disclosed that Mzbel’s track was a hit in Nigeria.

“Tunde Ednut THROWBACK: Remember this jam? This song was sooo big in Nigeria that year. Shoutout to all Ghanaians followers. Its @mzbeldaily on this one!” he wrote.

Mzbel was a force to reckon with in the music industry but she could not keep up with the trends and her career took a nose dive.

Many have also attributed her fall out to the sudden disappearance of multi-talented Ghanaian musician Castro–they were very fond of each other.
