The late Fix The Country’s activist, Kaaka’s mother could not stand on her feet during a meeting with the Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery.
The minister was in Ejura to commiserate with the family of Kaaka who was brutally murdered by a mob on Sunday, June 28th, 2021.
During a meeting with the Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery, Kaaka’s mother collapsed in front of him. She is seen being carried away by a gentleman in a video trending on social media.
Fix The Country advocator, Kaaka died on Sunday, June 28th after he was beaten by a mob on his way to his house.
According to sources, he was attacked because of his advocacy on social media. Kaaka was popular for using his social media pages to highlights matters that needed government attention in his community and on the national level.
Apparently, some people felt that he was making the government unpopular and had to attack him!
In an interview on Citi News, Kaaka’s wife, mother of 6 confessed that before his death he received threats from some unknown persons warning him to put a stop to his advocacy but he didn’t mind.
According to his wife, she personally warned him to stop but someway, somehow he was always found doing the same thing.
Kaaki was buried on Monday, June 29th. Following his burial, the youth of Ejura Sekyeredumase hit the street to demonstrate but that ended in a clash with the police and the military.
Two deaths were recorded whilst several people were injured.
