A sad accident has occurred on the Tema Motorway this morning leading to the unfortunate death of two tollbooth attendants.
A tipper truck reportedly run into the tollbooth on the Motorway leading to their demise.
A video posted by 3news on social media shows the scene of the wreckage after the tipper truck run into the booth.
The booth is completely crumpled with the tipper’s body having smashed it to pieces.

The driver of the tipper reportedly lost control of his car and smashed it into the innocent tollbooth attendants.
They were sitting ducks in that booth with no way to escape as the large car barrelled into them.
A mass of Ghanaians have popped up at the scene trying to find a way to rescue the attendants from the rubble.
It’s not clear if the emergency services including police, the fire and ambulance services have arrived on the scene.
It is a truly horrifying event to occur on such a Monday morning.

Ghana’s only dual-carriage highway, the Tema Motorway has become a death trap in recent times.
These days, it’s hard to go a week or two without hearing a harrowing story of one accident or another on it.
As someone who uses it frequently, it is a common sight to see one or two cars in horrific condition on the side of the road, indicating a recent accident.
The conditions of the cars you normally see makes it clear that the accident was most likely fatal.
