Elikem The Tailor Admits He Has Been Battling With His Mental Health For A While

Elikem Kumordzie AKA Elikem the Tailor happens to be one of the friends Moesha who are so concerned about her well-being on the internet.

He’s been sharing his concerns about the state of her mental health, which he claims people took out of context. In an attempt to clear the air, he made some revelations about the state of his own mental health.

Here are excerpts of what he said in a video on his Instagram:

“I made a small comment about how maybe it could be a mental health issue. Maybe. People took it out of context. I said that because of past experiences. I know autistic children. I know depressed people.

“I myself have been to see a therapist a few times because mental health is a thing that can affect the normal-looking person like you and I wey dey walk for road every day. We go fit have mental health issue we no know, wallahi. So when I say Moesha’s issue may be a mental health thing and let’s actually find a way to help support or convince her to see someone even.

“You know sometimes even talking to someone is therapeutic. Nobody knows what happened in the deep life of Moesha. So if Moesha is going through a phase, people don’t really know the back story. People are just like “oh she tried to repent..”

“Do you know that she might have even had a paradigm shift, it’s the reason why she wants to repent. Because Moesha is fine, she looks pretty, awesome, great body, she wears beautiful clothes, she’s moved from being the Moesha of talking to the CNN about what she does to the Moesha of being an influencer and being a philanthropist.

“The Moesha we got to know was like awesome… Repentance is a good thing. I’ve stood in front of a pulpit before and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal saviour and I wanted too follow the Christ-like life… I’ve been there, I’ve been to Bible school. That’s how far back my story is…”
