Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has sadly lost her father, a mere three weeks after losing her boyfriend Obama DMW.
Tiwa took to social media on the evening of Monday, July 20th 2021 to announce the sad news.
He passed away after a two year battle with illness.
Tiwa wrote: “Early hours of this morning you made a peaceful transition. You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy, it’s been rough for you these past couple years but you are resting now.
“This is tough on me, I’m so numb, so weak. Rest In Perfect Peace my King I love you daddy. Savy t’eko, pappin K,”

Tiwa’s post was accompanied by a photo of herself and her daddy.
Tiwa’s shocking news comes about three weeks after she sadly lost her alleged lover, Obama DMW.
Obama, real name Habeeb Uthman, was part of Davido’s 30bn crew before his sudden death in June.
He was allegedly a lover of Tiwa and she was even reported to have gotten pregnant for him and miscarried.
His death broke her down and she took to social media to pen a very long letter of grief.
She said: “”Brave heart, strong heart, soft heart, kind heart, pure heart, peace maker, hot stepper, incoming politician…I’ve never met anyone as brave/strong as you who was also as soft and kind as you. I don’t know why my cheesy jokes always made you laugh, you were ready to take a bullet for your loved ones 44 my black president, you chilling now, resting well, away from this cruel world.
“I LOVE YOU, WE LOVE YOU HABEEB. Till we meet again KING,”
Tiwa also pledged to make sure his grown son never lacks anything in life.
Her father’s death coming so soon after this devastating loss would make things very difficult for Tiwa to handle.
