Revealed: Source Exposes Peanuts Sarkodie and Other Acts were Paid for Ghana Party in the Park Performances

Almost all the most talked about musicians in Ghana was taken to the United Kingdom to thrill thousands at the Ghana Party in The Park which happened over the weekend.

New developments are coming up after a successful show last Saturday in London.

A popular Ghanaian DJ and radio presenter has alleged that organizers of the Ghana Party in the Park paid Ghanaian acts peanuts after performing at the event.

According to DJ Slim, non of the Ghanaaian acts, especially the new artistes, were paid more than 500 pounds (4,108.34 Ghanaian Cedi) for all the trouble they went through to put up a spectacular performance.

DJ Slim did not back his allegations with evidence but insisted that any artiste or artiste manager can provide payslips or contracts that proves him wrong.

He added that he was informed from an undisclosed source straight from UK and his informant is a close member to some artistes and also part of the organizers.

Some of the artiste who were billed to perform at the Ghana Party in the Park were Sarkodie, Kwabena Kwabena, D-Black, S3fa, Mr. Drew, Yaw Tog, Kofi Jamar, Kwaku Flick, Amerado and others.

Manager of fast rising rapper Kwaku Flick challenged DJ Slim to his words and stressed that he can confidently say his artist Kwaku Flick took more than the amount he is saying.

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie was the creative director for this year’s Party in The Park and he also performed at the event.

He was surprised by Arsenal player Thomas Partey at the party with a signed Jersey with his name boldly printed at the back.
