Sister Derby Receives International Support To Fight Government Over LGBTQ Law – Releases New Song For The Agenda

The African mermaid, Deborah Vanessa aka Sister Derby has received international backing from some LGBTQ communities to intensify her fight against government’s decision to criminalize LGBTQ activities.

For some days now, Sister Derby has been very vocal on social media over government enacting a law that makes LGBTQ activities criminal in Ghana.

She is of the opinion that such people also have the right to express their love in any form they deem fit and it will be inhumane for a law to prevent them from exercising their rights and freedoms.

A heated argument broke on twitter between the Ghanaian singer and member of parliament for the Ningo Prampram constituency, Sam George.

Sam George dropped a bomb on the musician saying “Hopefully, when you figure out what genre of music you can succeed at, we can have a forward looking conversation. Until then, say hi to @AmgMedikal for me. Cheers.

It got even uglier when the likes of Wanluv Kuborlor, Pappy Kojo and co jumped to support Derby fight the MP.

Sister Derby has dropped a song titled “Supe Super” which highlights the good in being an LGBTQ and how every home has at least one member as gay or lesbian.

The Ghanaian musician has received praises from LGBT community members for being bold and backlash from other social media users.

Visuals for the song featured all cross dressers and trans in Ghana, including some very popular celebrities.
