New reports emerged that the owners of Metro TV were allegedly forced by the NPP Government in power to rescind their decision and sack Bridget Otoo.

Some supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) took to  social media to fan the allegations by providing what they term as evidence to back their claims.

A member of NDC’s Communications team, Annan Perry Arhin, speculated that President Akufo-Addo directed Metro TV to sack Bridget Otoo – what interest does the president of Ghana have in common Bridget Otoo?
