Toke Makinwa Latest Celebrity Fingered In Hushpuppi’s Money Laundering Scandal

The long arm of the law has caught up with Hushpuppi and he is determined not to go down alone. The Nigerian influencer pleaded guilty to money laundering charges after getting arrested in Dubai last year.

His plea deal allows for him to minimize his 20-year sentence if he cooperates with authorities before his sentencing, scheduled for October 2021. Determined not to wallow in jail alone and also reduce his term, Hushpuppi has been snitching on his partners including Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari whose influence he used to intimidate his rivals.

According to Nigerian journalist Kemi Olunloyo who is determined to see Hushpuppi rot in jail and has taken the trial to heart, the songbird has sung the name of a certain female radio and TV personality.

She wrote, “Leaked FBI files not declassified yet: A female RADIO and TV media personality has been named by Hushpuppi as laundering millions of dollars for him to hide and move around for business. Remember Hushpuppi’s plea deal will allow him to get a lesser sentence of under 20 years if he cooperates well in time for his October 2021 sentencing. The popular OAP should immediately hire a US lawyer. This money laundering issue is very troubling and worrisome”.
