Ghanaian-American comedian, Michael Blackson is building a school in Ghana and has shared its progress in a video on his page.

We thought Micheal Blackson’s frequent trips to Ghana was to chill with D-black and co but he revealed the purpose of his trips in the video.

The award winning comedian was heard saying in the video that he comes to Ghana often because he wants to check on the progress of the school building.

He added that he could have hired someone to do that job but he wants to personally see to it so the project will be completed on time for the next academic year.

“The main reason I’m in Ghana every other month is to make sure this project is done in time so these little children will have a place to learn,” Blackson said.

A video posted on Instagram shows how high the building has been raised.

He asked his fans in the video to help him come up with a suitable name for his school.

I say He should call it Blackson Educational Complex (The BEC) – quite a catchy name for a school.

Rumor has it that Micheal Blackson is building the school to provide education for young people who live in the community where he comes from.
