Kumasi based Ghanaian actress Joyce Boakye has shed light on how she met her 65-year-old ex husband and why she decided to marry her.
The actress was in a tell-it-all mood on the Delay Show and she gave detailed account of where, when and how she met her ex husband.
Joyce Boakye disclosed that she was only 18 years when she met her 65-year-old husband and she never saw the gap in their age as a barrier.
Joyce Boakye told Delay that her husband was divorced with two kids but she didn’t mind that either.
Speaking on how they met, the actress said she met her husband, who was a medical doctor, at Okomfo Anokye Hospital.
They started off as workers with Joyce helping the man supply and advertise his medicine, she added.

The actress echoed that they worked for two years and she realised that the man, although he had all the riches, was sad and lonely so she decided to stay with him permanently.
Joyce Boakye said they married and their love affair lasted for only nine years – blaming herself for the break up.
The fault that led to the divorce was an immature action from childish Joyce Boakye to become famous in the country.

The actress said her husband was very supportive and pumped funds into her acting career but Joyce wanted more.
She suggested that they plan a publicity stunt to draw attention to her movies but the stunt backfired and collapsed her marriage.
