A viral video of a Reverend Father kissing students on the lips has caused outrage on the internet, with calls for him to be sanctioned.
The Anglican priest identified as Balthazar Obeng Larbi was seen kissing female students in front of the whole school. One of the girls was clearly very uncomfortable with the situation and tried to resist but the Reverend literally forced the kiss.
It is not clear what the premise of the kisses was, but it has raised conversations about the conduct of priests who are supposed to be mentors to these young girls.
In the video that is circulating online and trending on Twitter, the priest kissed the first girl who was quite willing and visibly excited. This caused the students watching to go into a frenzy as this is the last thing anyone wants to see from a dignified man of the robe.

The second student stepped up all prepared to receive the rather unholy kiss. The third however was very reluctant and wanted the kiss on her cheek but Rev. Obeng Larbi would not budge and planted the kiss on her lips regardless.
Besides being unethical and predatory, the fact that we are in a pandemic that does not seem like it would go away anytime soon, and a healthy distance is required makes the incident more horrifying.
Schools are recording alarming numbers of COVID cases and this blatant show of irresponsibility by an authority is nothing short of disturbing and disgusting.

There are calls for the Anglican church to sanction the priest in question.
