Nigerian music executive Don Jazzy treated Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie to a plate of Nigerian Jollof prepared by himself and Sarkodie’s reaction has tickled many online.
Sarkodie paid a visit to the MAVINS Records CEO in his apartment as part of his tour in Nigeria with his latest album, No Pressure.
Upon reaching Don Jazzy’s abode, he was offered another chance to taste Jollof prepared by a Nigerian.
Just to know, there has been an age long contention between who prepares better jollof between Ghana and Nigeria.
This war of food has been a bloody fight that Ghana always wins, even the Nigerians testify yet try to change the obvious.
Don Jazzy had already heard Sarkodie boldly declare on a Nigerian radio station that nothing compares to the taste of jollof cooked with love from Ghana.
“Worldwide, no Jollof tastes better than Ghana Jollof. Have you been to Ghana? Tried their Jollof? This should even be argued out. We are the best and you know it?” Sarkodie said boldly during an interview on the Beat FM.
Wanting to stick his neck out for his motherland, he invited Sarkodie over for a plate of Jollof and the rapper’s reaction was priceless.
Sarkodie took to twitter to share his plate of Jollof and a funny reaction after he tasted the food.
He claimed to have enjoyed the meal but added laughing emojies to his tweet to establish that he was just being kind to Don Jazzy.
His tweet read, “Because @DONJAZZY knew I was pulling up he made his jollof close to Ghana jollof so YES I ENJOYED IT !!!!”
Don Jazzy thanked Sarkodie for admiring his cooking and suggested they pass by his place every time they visit Nigeria.
