Nigerian actor Alex Ekubo’s engagement to his fiancee has officially been called off, three months to their planned wedding.

Fancy Acholonu, Ekubo’s fiancee, has confirmed the end of the engagement.

She had given hints of what was happening a few days back when she blocked Ekubo on Instagram and deleted all their photos together, the classic celebrity breakup move.

She also deleted a joint wedding page the two had opened.

The hints made it clear about what was coming but today she has completely confirmed it.

Taking to social media, she wrote: “Hey guys, I am writing to inform you all officially that I have ended my relationship, engagement and I have called off the wedding with Alexx Ekubo.

“I am aware that this may be a shock to many people. I made the best decision for myself, because it is important that everyone finds their happiness and live in their truth.

“At this time my family and I ask for you all to please respect our privacy. Thank you so much!’

Fancy Acholonu and Alex Ekubo seemed destined for a magical celebrity marriage.

The actor and his fiancee took over the news recently when they got engaged in Los Angeles, California.

However, their mega wedding, planned for November 2021, has now turned beans, as the saying goes.

Fancy is now going her own way whilst Alex remains in radio silence.
