The founder and leader of Anointed Palace Chapel stormed the funeral grounds in grand style, drawing all attention from the mourning to himself.
Rev. Obofour and his bodyguards, all cloaked in black garments, joined the many gathered under tents in Kumasi mourning with Bishop Obinim, the founder of International God’s Way Church.
It is instructive to note that Rev. Obofour is not only a man of God but a chief in a GA community.
As a chief, his presence at the funeral grounds drew attention as people rushed at him trying to take pictures or shake his hands.
His bodyguards blocked off fans as Rev. Obofour made his way through the thick crowd to go meet Bishop Obinim.
Bishop Angel Daniel Obinim’s father kicked the bucket months ago but he was buried and given the final respect yesterday.
As if that was not enough, the burial grounds turned chaotic when Bishop Obinim and Rev. Obofour stepped on the floor to dance together and rich men began to rain cash on them.
A week ago, Rev. Obofour called Bishop Obinim live during one of his television broadcasts to settle their long-standing rivalry.
Reverend Obofour called Angel Obinim on national television to ask of the date of his father’s funeral after honouring his official invitation.
He followed his promise by gracing the occasion.
