Students from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) and Ghanaians at-large were shocked Friday when a final year student died doing backflips.
The student was doing celebratory backflips after completing his final exams when the worst happened.
He landed awkwardly on his neck and broke it in the process.
He died instantly.
His death has shocked all and sundry because of the circumstances surrounding it.
A young man who had just completed a major milestone in his life tragically dying on the same day.
GhanaCelebrities.Com has dug a little deeper to find a bit more about Sani from colleagues.
From what we learned, he was ax expert back flipper and had performed the move countless times.
That is also contributing to the shock because he is often able to do it easily and without any issues.
On the biggest day of his life, that is when things went wrong.
The weird nature of his passing has many students also believing that his ‘village people’ were perhaps behind his death.
Many students we’ve spoken to believe there is a superstitious element behind what happened to him.
For someone good at something to die doing it on the day when he just accomplished the biggest achievement of his life is definitely strange to them.
Either way, this tragic turn of events has the whole school shook and in mourning.
May he rest in peace.
