Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh has announced she’s going off social media for 72 hours – after enduring probably the worst week of her life.
Tonto claims that she has been told to deactivate her Instagram account for 3 days as part of a process to get her follower count to go up.
As to why she’s choosing this time to make that move, your guess is as good as mine.

Tonto, as mentioned earlier just had her worst week ever! It started with her ex-boyfriend Prince Kpokpogri leaking a truly disturbing audio of Tonto crying and begging him.
The audio was reportedly recorded after Tonto had cheated on him and she was begging him to take her back.
The actress was crying bitterly for him not to leave her considering the public shame and ridicule she would come under.
Kpokpogri released the audio after a similar audio had earlier come out of him admitting to cheating on Tonto and she broke off their relationship.
He presumably therefore decided to drop his own audio to humiliate her!
Whilst dealing with that trauma, Tonto also had her former bestie Bobrisky coming after her hard!

Bobrisky attacked her, called her a demon, mocked her for being unmarried and anything you could think of.
It seems Tonto has just had enough because she’s now leaving social media.
She claims that she has been stuck on 6m followers for over a year although her metrics show she should have about 11m.
Therefore, she has been advised to deactivate her account for three days for some technical issues to be solved.
Therefore, you are not going to see Tonto disturbing you for the next three days.
It just sounds like a convenient excuse for her to go offline and get some time to herself.
It’s not the worst idea in the world.
Considering what she’s gone through, she should even take about a year off social media and work on healing herself.
