Aside Shatta Michy, one person who was really stretched by her celebrity boyfriend before finally tying the knot has to be Tracey Sarkcess.
Both ladies had to be with their guys – Shatta Wale and Sarkodie – for over a decade without any guarantee that it would end in marriage.
They also both gave birth and became baby mamas and still had not seen the ring!
The risk they were taking is illustrated by the fact that even though Tracy eventually got married to Sark, Michy and Wale’s relationship ended in tears.

Now Michy has over a decade with Wale, with a son, and no ring to show for it.
She herself has described it as wasting a decade of life!
That shows that it could very easily had ended that same way for Tracy Sarkcess.
She stood with Sarkodie through thick and thin, even back at a time when he was a nobody, and it would have been a disaster had he not fulfiled his end of the bargain.
Thankfully, he finally succumbed to pressure from both his mum and Tracy and did the right thing.
Tracy’s long relationship with Sarkodie has ensured she has spent a long time in the public eye.
She started as Sark’s girlfriend, transformed into the baby mama and finally as his lawfully wedded wife.
