Comedian and actor Funny Face has been seen in a recent video online getting acquitted with one of the inmates in the cell he is lodging.

Benson Nana Yaw Boateng popularly known as Funny Face was arrested some days ago for publicly threatening the lives of some people.

Disoriented Funny Face was heard in a video claiming he was going to murder his baby mama for breaking his heart and then shoot himself to escape arrest.

He went on to threaten other personalities for allegedly playing a part in his depression. His utterances lead to his arrest by the Ghana Police Service.

Days after his arrest, Funny Face has been seen in a video putting up a performance for inmates he shares cell with.

A statement released from the police said he was arrested on Monday at about 10:14 pm for allegedly threatening some individuals on social media.

The statement added that Funny Face will be mentally examined after the police have obtained a court order.

The statement read;

“Funny Face in Police Custody for Allegedly Threatening Some Individuals. The Police have today, Monday, 18th October, 2021, at 10:14 pm arrested Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face for allegedly threatening certain individuals via some Social Media platforms.

“Due to the history of the suspect, the police shall submit Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng to the court for an order for psychiatric examination, to determine the next line of investigative action.

“The police is committed to protecting lives with the generous help of the public. We want to assure the public that we shall not take anything for granted in the interest of public safety,”
