While some celebrities are calling for the law to tamper justice with mercy, others are rejoicing over the woes of their colleagues.
Dancehall musician Shatta Wale arrived at Ankaful Prison to begin his one week remand today after he appeared before an Accra Circuit Court yesterday.
Shatta was arrested and prosecuted for staging an expensive stunt that the Ghana Police did not find amusing. He reported himself on Tuesday night after the police launched a search for him for claiming he was shot by gunmen.
Medikal on the other hand was reportedly arrested yesterday for brandishing firearms on social media.
The award winning rapper decided to replicate the gangster life he portrays in music videos in real life so he recorded himself happily flaunting his newly bought American pistol just to send a signal out there.
It is unclear if the brand new firearm is licensed or not but the rapper faces prosecution if investigations reveals the gun is not licensed.
Actor Prince David Osei reacting to this said celebrities called for the system to be fixed and active and that is exactly what they are witnessing.
Prince David Osei told personalities calling for the release of arrested celebs to shut up and watch the system work as they prayed for.
“Did i hear someone say fix the country?? well the power that be heard your plea and is fixing the country.. Ghana will prosper. Goodnight wai”, Prince wrote on social media.
He wrote again this morning that, “True democracy is when we are all equal before the law.”
