Actress and brand influencer, Rosemond Alade Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo is going to serve her 90-day jail term after the Accra High Court has dismissed her appeal.
Today, December 1st 2021, the Accra Court with presiding judge Ruby Aryeetey has thrown out Poloo’s appeal against the 90 days jail term.
According to the judge, the sentence by the Circuit Court was reasonably moderate so she sees no reason to overturn it.

High Court Judge Ruby Aryeetey has therefore upheld the 90-day jail sentence for Akuapem Poloo.
She also added that her son is given to a family member who is capable to assume the motherly role and taking care of him until Akuapem Poloo has served her 90-day jail term.
Reacting to the court’s decision, Poloo has shared a photo of her son, praying for him. The disappointed mother of one has bared her emotions by praying for her son.
She wrote, ‘SON I LOVE YOU AND GOD IS WITH YOU ALWAYS YOU KNOW 💋💋💋💋💋💋BE GOOD TILL MUMMY COMES BACK 🙏 GOD IS IN CONTROL ALWAYS.’

Akuapem Poloo was sentenced earlier this year after she published obscene materials on social media.
She was sentenced to 90 days in jail but she appealed and escaped going to jail pending the judgement.
However, her fate has been decided on this day, December 1st 2021 as she resumes her 90-day jail term.
