Onua TV presenter Captain Smart has found himself in trouble after the Nima Police arrested him today, Thursday, December 2nd 2021.
Captain Smart was arrested for making comments that the police have determined to threaten the peace and security of the country.
He’s accused of making comments calling for the military to storm Parliament!
The fiery presenter generally passes comments which attack the incompetent political elite for their wicked policies.
He got into trouble during his time at Angel Fm for making similar scathing comments and its alleged powerful forces got his bosses to sack him from that job.
He later joined Onua Fm and has now fallen into the same soup.
The police claim he has passed comments which flout the criminal code.
Captain Smart reportedly said: “Where we have reached, we require an uprising with positive defiance. I am even shocked at Ghana’s soldiers. You can enter Parliament when MPs are being sworn in, but when MPs are fooling, you can’t enter Parliament. Everybody is quiet in this country,”
The police determined the comments to threaten the security of the country.
He has been cautioned for breaching the Criminal Act, 1960 (Act 29).
The police have released a statement to that effect.
