Lawyer Blue Gate aka Mona Gucci has finally found some courage to react to trending news that she’s been ordered to pay Yvonne Nelson Ghc 500,000.
Mona is out there showing bravado on social media but inside you just know she’s scared as hell.
On Thursday, December 2nd 2021, an Accra High Court ruled in a defamation case brought by Yvonne Nelson against Mona Gucci.
Mona had called Yvonne a slay queen and claimed her lifestyle is financed by some unknown big men she sleeps with.
Despite repeated attempts to get her to appear in court, the television presenter failed to turn up.

The judge thus finally ruled in her absence and awarded Yvonne Nelson the Ghc 500,000 in damages she sought.
News of the ruling came out this week and Mona Gucci has now found some courage to speak up.
Initially, she claimed that she was never invited to court to defend herself.
Taking to Instagram, she rubbished the judgement.
“Which court case is that? I was never invited to speak? – Interesting,” she wrote.
However, as the judgement noted, she was invited numerous times but simply refused to turn up.
She later posted another update lashing out at everyone involved in the case.
“Let us normalize MENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION in all our institutions…a lotta mad, depressed n bipolar people are walking in makeup and waist trainers….!! #Screengoddess… AdwoaBroni Papabi.. Tannnkkeewww,”
She also posted a video dancing in reaction to the verdict.
The fact is Mona can show all these ‘hardcore’ posts but the judgement has been given and she has to comply.
