She actually cares about helping people and has a track record of doing so for close to a decade now.
Jackie has made it a tradition that on her birthday every year, she will make a donation that changes the lives of some people in the country.
She has been doing it for as far back as we can remember and it is something that truly separates her from other celebrities.
Every single year on her birthday, December 5th, Jackie has made an important donation.
Below we go back in time to recap the donations she has been doing for the past decade.
2013 – Jackie Appiah Donates to Ebenezer Hills JHS On Her 29th Birthday!
As part of Jackie Appiah’s donations to the Ebenezer Hills Junior Secondary School, she paid for the WAEC registration fees of the school’s 163 final year pupils.
Jackie Appiah also bought a Table Tennis board, 36 Football Jerseys and created a football field for the school.
Jackie also fixed ceiling fans for all the classrooms to enhance the classroom learning experience too. And then, placed 5 teachers from the school on a scholarship to IPMC for a year—so they can learn ICT and return to teach the children.
2014 – Jackie Appiah Celebrates Birthday at Teshie Orphanage and LEKMA Hospital Children’s Ward
The actress made a donation of books, toys, food, drinks, toiletries, school supplies and others to the Teshie Orphanage—she then paid for the fees of two of the orphans.
When Jackie Appiah visited the LEKMA Hospital Children’s Ward, she paid the hospital bills of 3 families—and also made donations to the ward.
2015 – Jackie Appiah Celebrates Her Birthday With Orphans + Makes Donations to Support Two Children’s Homes
Jackie Appiah brought together kids from the Osu Children’s home and the Teshie Children’s home.
Apart from throwing an exciting party for the children, the star actress on behalf of the Jackie Appiah Foundation donated bags of rice, drinks, toiletries, books and other educational materials to the orphanages which host the wonderful kids.
