The full WASSCE results for VGMA award winner Yaw Tog has finally popped up and it’s not as bad as he made us think.
Born Thorstenn Owusu Gyimah, the ‘Sore’ hitmaker undertook the West African Senior High School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) earlier this year.
After completing Opoku Ware Senior High School (OWASS) in Kumasi, Tog wrote the WASSCE as is mandatory for all students.
He made a lot of noise after completing but after the results were released, he revealed that he was not happy with what he saw.
Tog took to social media yesterday, Thursday, December 9th, to cry that he got scared after seeing his results.
According to him, he just checked the results and got the shock of his life!
He wrote: “I just checked my results na meyam koraa ahye me,”
‘Meyam ahye me’ is a twi idiom meaning he was completely shocked or startled by what he saw.
That started endless speculations over whether he had passed or failed and even some fake results started being released.
However, Tog’s real results are now out and look far better than he let us think.
He got a couple of ‘A’s and a couple of ‘B’s with the rest being ‘C’s.
Not exactly the best but not a failure either.Y
aw Tog’s results were just average and if he wants to continue his education he can easily do so.
