Actress Rosemond Alade Brown aka Akuapem Poloo has been freed from jail by the court of Appeal, reports from credible sources suggests.
The sentence of the actress who was serving a 90day jail term from the Accra High Court for indecent exposure and three other counts was dropped.
According to reports, Akuapem Poloo has been fined instead of spending days behind bars.
Poloo has been fined to pay GHc10,000, GHc500, and another GHc500 penalty units on the three counts summing up to 12,000 cedis, all which are expected to run concurrently.
Lawyers of convicted actress filed a notice of appeal at the Court of Appeal challenging the dismissal of her appeal by the High Court on December 7, 2021.

The case and notice for bail application was moved to December 15, 2021 and the plea of the actress heard.
