Empress Gifty Adorye has come out to defend herself for always dressing like a slay queen despite being a gospel musician.
According to her, there is no part in the Bible that says you have to look dirty to be a servant of God.
Whilst that might be true, there’s also no part of the Bible which says you have to look like a combination of Efia Odo and Moesha Boduong to be a servant of God either!
Gifty Osei has become a slay queen gospel singer, which is what most of them in this era looks like.
She goes out dressed in wild outfits, often tightly hugging her body or strategically placed to accentuate her curves – the same curves she allegedly purchased from hospitals.
Ghanaians have often slammed her for her dress sense as a gospel singer and Empress has finally responded.
In a new interview, she claims she’s a representative of God hence looking good is a way to broadcast the glory of God.
She then claimed the bible never said people have to look wretched to worship God.
“I have not seen anywhere in the Bible that you have to look dirty before you can worship God; no. I have not seen anywhere,” Empress said.

She added: “It is said that all good things come from above which means they come from God so if I am representing this God who created me and gave me this gift then I need to do it well and I don’t see anything wrong with that.”
