Burna Boy waited long enough to respond to Shatta Wale’s rants. Whether Ghanaians side with him or not, that is beside the point. The truth is, it’s sad to witness such a beautiful friendship turn sour.
For weeks on end, Shatta Wale acted out over what he calls a lack of support for Ghanaian musicians by Nigerians.
When the rants started, many people expressed mixed reactions from Ghanaians and Nigerians. Quite recently, Wizkid subtly responded to the situation, but it’s Burna’s response that made all the news today.
Here’s how it all started…
The follow-up post by Burna Boy waded in on the variety of music played on Ghanaian radio.
Next, Odogwu bemoaned Shatta Wale’s lack of Pan-Africanism.
In response to Burna Boy’s stories on Instagram, many alleged that the ‘Ye’ crooner only went after Shatta Wale because of the pain he felt due to a show getting cancelled in Sierra Leone for the same reasons Shatta Wale threw tantrums.
Lastly, Stonebwoy also got himself mixed up in the mess after he posted his thoughts on the issue.
Even though misinterpreted, the Dancehall musician reiterated that the differences between both countries would continue strengthening its bond.
