Photos from the burial of Emmanuel Adams Mahama, brother of former President Mahama, have popped up online.
Emmanuel Mahama was buried in Bole, the hometown of the ex-President.
Mahama and a contingent of top NDC officials all stormed Bole over the weekend for the quick burial ceremony.

Aside the NDC flagbearer and former President, other officials to the funeral included Chairperson of the NDC Council of Elders Alhaji Mahama Iddrisu, NDC National Vice Chairman Alhaji Sofo Azorka, leading members of the NDC including Alhaji Huudu Yahaya, Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu, Regional Chairmen and some Members of Parliament.
According to reports, Mahama and his siblings and other family members accompanied his late brother’s body from Accra to Bole.
He was then quickly laid to rest.
The family plans to announce a date for his funeral and other necessary final rites in due course.
As we reported Saturday, John Dramani Mahama’s brother Emmanuel Adam Mahama died 31st night following a short illness.
His sudden demise was announced by Mahama’s spokesperson, Joyce Bawa Mogtari on social media.
