Gospel musician Gifty Adorye, also known as Empress Gifty, says never has she depended on the riches of her husband to survive ever since they married.
According to the gospel musician, her husband agreed to marry her because she never came across as a gold digger.
Many rumored on social media that the gospel musician settled for the politician because of his deep pockets but Gifty says that is a blatant lie.
Gifty Ardoye met Hopeson at a funeral ceremony in 2018 and according to her, they married a month after exchanging contacts and becoming friends.
She said, unlike other women who hold the mindset of depending on the resources of men, she works hard to make her own money and that is what attracted her to the rich husband.
Speaking further, she disclosed that her conviction to achieve her life goals without depending on the income of another person (her husband) is what solidified her relationship with popular politician, Hopeson Adorye.

Gifty added that one thing her husband adores most about her is her industrious nature and has therefore given her the freedom and space to become whoever she pleases to be.
“I prefer to work and make my own money. If I love you, I don’t want your money. All I want is my freedom to work and exhibit my talent. That is where I get my happiness,” She was heard saying in a video gone viral online.

According to Gifty Adorye, meeting her current husband in 2018 was the greatest miracle the God she serves did in her life after experiencing emotional trauma 5 years ago due to divorce.
