Kuami Eugene Made Chief In Tepa – Video

Award-winning musician Eugene Kwame Marfo, famed across Africa as Kuami Eugene has been honored with a chieftaincy title in Tepa, a town in Ghana.

The Lynx entertainment signed singer was installed as the ‘Mmrantehene’ (The Youth chief) at Tepa in the Ashanti region of Ghana.

Kuami Eugene held a sold-out concert at the town and after the successful event, Chief and rulers of the land conferred the title on him in the full glare of the people.

The Omanhene of the Tepa Traditional Area, Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem, along with other sub-chiefs climbed the stage to join Eugene as they perform the customary traditions.

They dressed the 2020 VGMA Artiste of the Year in a gorgeous traditional garment as the crowd cheered him on.

Kuami Eugene thanked the Omanhene of the Tepa Traditional Area, chiefs, and elders for the tremendous honor and assured to live up to his new title.

Sharing the video on his official Instagram page, the Rock Star expressed how excited he was to have been made a chief and how successful his show went.

“Tepa showed me love last night. The new Tepa Youth Chief (Mmrante Hene) in Town. I appreciate the love Nana,” Eugene wrote online.

Young Kuami Eugene joins the list of Ghanaian musicians made chiefs in a town in the country. Congrats to him.
