Gold bottles, Black bottles – It was a Cristal kind of night that could have made even Christina Aguilera fly into Lagos in search of diamonds, yes, she sang “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”, but that night, it is safe to say over a hundred bottles of Cristal was everyone’s best friend at the Billionaire Sunset Dinner party hosted by ZaZa Lounge and Sujimoto Group.
It was indeed a night of glitz, glamour and exclusivity as the Big Boys, Billionaires and Beautiful Girls came out to party and shut Lagos down. Those that weren’t in town, flew in, just to attend this party on the 1st of January, 2022. Talk about starting the New Year with a BANG!
When the custodian of exquisite dining – ZaZa Lounge and Restaurant partnered with the King of Luxury Living – Sujimoto Group to throw the biggest party of 2022, we knew we were in for something that was going to shake Lagos, we just weren’t expecting the magnitude in which the party was going to take. We did not know it was going to be a tsunami of Luxuries! We absolutely did not foresee Lagos standing still and having ZaZa open till 3am.
In attendance were Africa’s most influential and notable personalities, such as, business moguls, movers and shakers of the economy, and your favorite socialites. Rumoured to have been in attendance were ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The vibrant music from the exemplary Dj SixSeven, the array of mouthwatering cuisines, bottles upon bottles of the finest champagne, amazing performances from the Arab Cabaret and the South American Salsa dancers, magic tricks from the incredible Babs Cardini and some live music, the ambience and the people were like what we have never seen.
Dozens of people without invites loitered around ZaZa Lounge, hoping to catch a glimpse of the event and if lucky, find their way in to experience the biggest Lagos Nightlife, but unfortunately, the front desk and client manager, Yvonne, carefully mitigated the situation and made sure the principal of the event which is 1% of the 1% was maintained. Those who failed to make reservations for the event were also turned back as ZaZa was filled to the max with gorgeous women and sought-after men.
We got a clear picture of what we could expect when Mr. Sijibomi Ogundele – MD/CEO Sujimoto Group said; “we are hosting the most exclusive party of the year, where the big boys and girls in Lagos will be present, where those that make decisions for our country will be in attendance, a party that will give an experience that will last a lifetime. This party will be the talk of town.”
And so it is, the sunset party truly IS the talk of town.
After the sunset dinner party at ZaZa Lounge, the party continued to Zorya Club with the aid of Party Bus Nigeria, a luxurious party bus company that conveyed our Lagos Big Boys and Girls to Zorya, to continue the party. At Zorya, the management welcomed them with over 25 bottles of Champagne, amazing music and good vibes.
This is a reminder that the creation of a luxurious entertainment center is long overdue and Sujimoto Group blazing the trail with incredulous real estate has picked up the torch, with the promise of a luxurious entertainment center which is guaranteed to set the standard for the Lagos Nightlife and become the haven for Africa’s biggest names.
