Davido has taken to Twitter to lambast his cousin Bamidele Adeleke for publishing an article which disrespects the legacy of his late mother.
The Nigerian singer launched a cyber attack on his older cousin and threatened to make things physical over claims that the man had insulted the family that made him popular.
Bamidele Adeleke, Davido’s cousin, declared his interest to run in the 2022 Osun State gubernatorial election but the singer thought his decision was laughable because he was fake.

Davido accused him of ‘forming intellectual’ and that began this whole fight online.
He shared a picture of his cousin posing with a provisional clearance certificate for the Osun State gubernatorial election in a tweet and listed why he thinks Dele was a bad choice for Osun State.
“Wonderful! I finished university with a 2:1. But it’s now cousin Dele who struggled to even get a 2:2 that is now forming ‘intellectual,” he wrote.
Davido also accused his cousin of not having the knowledge to build anything on his own and being a ‘bad belle.’
“Intellectual that has not succeeded in building one single thing in his own life on his own. This life ehn! Osun beware of FAKES. @deleadeleke001. Bad belle lopo laiye Kehinde Le je oju taiye,” he tweeted.
This triggered Dele Adeleke to write his own article about Davido and now the musician is pissed.
Davido said he only spoke the truth about him but he got so hurt that he went to purport lies about the family that took care of him.
“The truth hurt you that much you had to go that low to mention YOUR AUNTY VERO that cared for you .. well .. I don open my crase for the year @deleadeleke001 stay tuned 🤘🏽 NEW MUSIC 2MORO! 🌋”
“Because of your ambition you have your people write about me (which I don’t care ) but to include the death of my mother in an article … same woman that raised you … @deleadeleke001 ok na .. 🙏🏾 Dele God will reward you”
He went on to say his cousin was blinded by his ambition to become a politician that he bit the hands that fed him while threatening him and calling him all sorts of names.
“Worst of all this Nigga really doing all this from the house my father gave you ! Audacity ! Disrespect me ! (I don’t care) But my FATHER my MOTHER Never! DELE I WILL STRESS YOU ! We go meet for field ….”
