Afia Schwarzenegger has thanked God that her father has passed away as it has taken him from his suffering.

The comedienne has been mourning her late father in recent days.

Schwar’s father died earlier this week, on Monday, January 20th after a very long battle with illness.

As she’s mourning, Schwarzenegger has found time to express gratitude that her father is dead.

Whilst that might sound shocking, she says the man was in a lot of pain and suffering.

Hence, it seems death in this instance was actually a mercy.

Schwar shared a video of her father during his happier days with the caption.

“I thank God for your life. I thank God for a bestie like you I thank God for giving you rest. I thank God for ending the pain I thank you God for giving Kwadwo eternal rest. I thank you God of Shiloh. It is well. Rest in Power my love,”

Schwarzenegger has been updating Ghanaians regularly over her father’s illness in recent times.

The illness got so bad it got to a point she says she had to bathe him and do almost everything for him.

So in a sense, her death is a relief which is why she’s thanking God as well.

Either way, Schwar seems in better spirits now after her mafia gang paid her a visit Wednesday.

Her father died just this week but it seems the hard days are already behind Schwar.
