Charter House has released a presser to announce the commencement of activities for 2022’s edition of the VGMA.

The organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards opened for filing of nominations by the public for the 23rd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

This is slated to run from 19th January to 18th February 2022.

In the presser, all artistes, artiste managements, record labels, producers, instrumentalists, music composers, music industry stakeholders and the general public were encouraged to file nominations to participate in the 23rd annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

All stakeholders were asked to note that only published works in the year 2021 will be accepted.

Consequently, all works from January 1 to December 31 2021 should be submitted via the online portal at www.entry,ghanamusicawards.com

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was established in 2000 by Mascot to celebrate Ghanaian musicians.

The awards are presented annually and are broadcast live on GH One. The awards ceremony features performances by artistes.

This year promises to be a great year for the likes of Gyakie, Black Sheriff, Amaarae and so many others.

However, the top award which is the ‘Artiste of the Year’ category is definitely the ultimate prize to die for.
