Rex Omar Accuses NPP Minister Of Cancelling His Music Gig Out Of Sheer Spite – VIDEO

Politics and music have always had a very healthy relationship.

In recent times, Ghanaians have enjoyed some of the best-written songs from both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

It is also a known fact that music does not create itself. Politicians rely on musicians to send their messages across using good music.

How then is it almost an abomination to see musicians boldly declare their love and support for political parties?

Rex Omar bemoans the unfair treatment he experienced because a minister of the NPP cancelled his show unprovoked.

In 2020, Rex Omar was one of the known faces who boldly declared their support for the NDC.

He (Rex Omar), alongside Sadiq Abdulai of 3 Music, was appointed NDC spokespersons explaining Sadiq’s pulsating tweets about the NDC in 2020.

Owing to these known facts, Rex has accused an NPP minister of cancelling a show he was booked for just because of his political affiliation.
