Dancehall musician Stonebwoy was in the spirit and decided to pass a comment on social media that many have read wrong meanings into it and are lambasting him.
Livingstone Etse Satekla questioned why purpose of living on earth has changed and this generation now fixed on only making money.
His question was to challenge the status-quo and inculcate a higher purpose into the minds of the youth but he chose a wrong day to become a prophet of good.
Stonebwoy tweeted; “Now life looks like we only came to find money on earth?”
The multiple awarded singer was only advising his fans to seek more than money in life but some trolls bluntly told him he got some benefits because he was rich.
Trolls hammered on the point that Stonebwoy’s fortunes only changed when he gain money and fame so he holds no right to advice people not to look for money while live.
They alleged that it was the riches and influence Stonebwoy had that made his marriage to a medical doctor smooth.
A troll by name Godwin A. Boateng posited that the parents of Dr. Louisa, who is a dental specialist, wouldn’t have agreed for Stonebwoy to marry their daughter if he was not rich and famous.
Dr. Louisa graduated from Medical school with distinction and bagged more than half of the awards in her batch, an achievement which sort of shows the status of family she was from.
In the view of some trolls, Stonebwoy who was a ghetto boy at that time would not have been allowed to settle with her if he was not rich.
Do you agree or you think they are just being harsh on Stonebwoy?
