Gospel star Joe Mettle and his wife Selassie continue their dream couple life as they hold a christening for their daughter.
Amidst all the negativity and naysayers, this couple continues to grow from strength to strength.
After getting married in August 2020, they announced the birth of their daughter on social media in October 2021.
Prior to that, numerous reports alleged that the gospel singer, who claimed to have been a virgin before marriage, was having massive marital issues
Selassie was alleged to have been fed up with her marriage already and left her marital home.
The couple stayed mute on those reports but eventually, confirmed that they were still together and even welcomed a daughter.
Taking to social media Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, Joe Mettle announced his wife’s delivery.
“I just want to take this time to express how grateful I am to God for the life of this amazing woman in my life @serlcy_d. I love you so much babe and thank God for you.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” he said
Since then, they have taken their sweet time to get the child christened.
Her naming ceremony has now been held, three months after her birth.
Gospel singer Cwesi Oteng, who was present at the event, shared a video on social media.
”Congratulations Mr & Mrs @joemettle @serlcy_d on the christening of your beautiful & lovely baby girl.” he wrote.
