VGMA artiste of the year Diana Hamilton has taken a swipe at colleague gospel star, Evangelist Diana Asamoah.
Asamoah has been making news recently after shedding her ‘gospel’ image for a more slay queen look.
After condemning those who dress a certain way for years, Diana Asamoah is indulging in that lifestyle.
She’s seen these days dressed in a provocative manner with all sorts of makeup on her body.
Her transition from hating people like that to now dressing like that has shocked everyone, most of all Diana Hamilton.
The ‘Adom’ hitmaker was asked about why gospel artistes have to dress in a demure way and she replied that it’s because that pleases the holy spirit.
Using herself as an example, she recounted how she dressed saucily for a program one day and the holy spirit got offended with her style.
“I once went to minister at an event and although my dress was ankle length, I had slit the side up to my knee and whilst I was singing I realised the audience were not reacting to the ministration as they ordinarily would,” she revealed.
“So I got off the stage and when I was headed home one person approached me and told me the spirit in the room was dull because I had split the side of my perfectly long dress to reveal my legs,”
Diana added in an apparent shot at Evangelist Asamoah: “I choose to cover up because there is decency and class in covering up and I always keep doing that,”
