The French Ambassador to Ghana, Anne Sophie-Ave, is working very hard to ‘Ghanaianize’ herself – and it seems to be going well.
Her Excellency has been spotted on numerous occasions engaging in activities that would endear her to Ghanaians.
And much like our IGP Dampare, she always makes sure she has a camera around to capture the moment.
A few weeks ago, she made news after being spotted waiting in line to buy waakye.
If you’re asked to boil down being Ghanaian to one activity – it is perhaps waiting in line to get your beloved waakye.
It’s the quintessential Ghanaian experience and Anne Sophie-Ave made sure to experience and record it.
Today, she’s continuing her ‘Ghanaianization’ campaign with an attempt to sing along to Sarkodie.
A video of Anne in her car with her manager has been shared online showing them singing along to King Sark.
Anne does her best to sing alongside Obidi as his songs play in the background of their car.
The French diplomat is well on the way to capturing the hearts of Ghanaians as our favourite foreign ambassador – a worthy heir to the Brit Jon Benjamin.
