Portable, a budding Nigerian musician, was brought to tears on Valentine’s Day by his girlfriend’s huge love gesture to him.
It took some time, but Portable was officially included in the Valentine’s Day celebration on February 14.
Feyishara, the Zazu crooner’s girlfriend, surprised him by hiring a surprise crew to make him happy on the day set aside for individuals to express their love for others.
Portable’s Valentine’s Day surprise was documented in a series of videos that went viral on social media.
The musician was escorted to a room, and as he entered, a bunch of friends exclaimed, ‘surprise!’
When he entered, a trumpeter known as ‘Pan Ran Ran’ began to play Timi Dakolo‘s popular song, Iyawo mi’.
A peek around the room revealed that it had been adorned with rose petals, which were used to construct heart shapes on the floor and to spell out the words ‘Happy Val’ on the bed.
The space was also festooned with balloons and ribbons.
Portable was undoubtedly impressed, and he exclaimed, ‘mo fo o’, which means he is affected.
Just as the singer believed it was finished, another praise singer, Omoolalomi, was invited into the chamber and sung praises to Portable.
The Zazu crooner was so affected that he took money from his pocket to express his gratitude to the artist.
Portable then reached out his hands to his girlfriend and gave her a strong and passionate hug before breaking down in tears.
