Everyone has a history and Ghanaian actress Kisa Gbekle’s story back in the Volta Region before she shot to fame has shocked many.
Kisa Gbekle has recounted how stuggles back in her village forced her to sleep with men for money or favors to cater for her family.
Kisa told Delay in an interview that she came from a poor background and she had to suffer with her siblings before they get their daily meal.
Being the last of four kids, Kisa had to struggle in the Volta Region before she moved to Accra for greener pastures.
She although she was not in support, she had to sometimes sleep with men just for favors else her family would not eat.
Narrating how how she became a prostitute, the actress said she first broke her virginity at the age of 15 years. An act which resulted in a police case because she was raped by an 18 year old boy.
The boy, according to her, was arrested but the case was later withdrawn from the police and settled at home between both parents.
Kisa relocated to Accra and enrolled in a film institution in an attempt to pursue her dream of becoming an actress.
She later had a job at Venus Film Production as the secretary and the rest is history.
Kisa also confirmed in the same interview that although she has become famous, she is still in the ashawo business that’s why she went to operate on her body to look more curvy.
