Baba Sadiq Abdulia, the CEO of 3Music Awards, has shed light on certain things that happened on the night of the awards.

3Misic Awards this year put up an exceptional performance that earned them accolades from the public.

As a top-up from last year, organizers of the 3Music Awards turned up a notch and made a daring decision to include rainfall in the set design during the awards.

Fast-rising Ghanaian rapper, Black Sherif was the artist who performed in the rain in stage – a moment which has since become one of the most memorable highlights of the night.

Baba Sadiq has revealed in a recent interview that the artificial rain set was a stage initially designed for BET award winner Sarkodie and not Black Sherif.

He made this revelation in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM.

According to Sadiq, he and his team had planned to book King Sark for a performance but all their efforts fell on the rocks.

He told the host that their negotiations and persuasions did not yield any better results as Sarkodie’s team did not agree to their terms.

The CEO said there was a disagreement because of an outstanding job they had to settle with Sarkodie.

Months passed and they had not heard anything from Sarkodie’s team so they settled with Black Sherif.
