The wife of Ghanaian gospel musician Brother Sammy has come out to share her side of the story weeks after her husband went live on TV to badmouth her.
Brother Sammy disclosed in the studios of UTV that his wife, Mrs. Perpertual Opoku aka Obaa Yaa, had dumped him over false allegations leveled against him by their house help.
He said there was no way he could look in the eyes of his wife again or amass the strength and courage to make love to her after the incident and that is affecting his marriage.

A lady claiming to be close to Brother Sammy’s wife came out to allege that Obaa yaa had divorced the gospel musician a long time ago and that Brother Sammy was finding a smart way of announcing it.
She claimed the lady had returned the customary drinks Brother Sammy brought to her family for her hand in marriage a long time ago.
Speaking for the first time after the incident, Mrs. Perpertual Opoku said she was brainwashed by her house help into thinking her husband was the villain.
She said that she acted out of haste but has now settled matters with Brother Sammy and now lives happily with him in their matrimonial home.
Mrs. Perpertual Opoku added that she has now learned to trust her husband more than any other person and will be extra cautious going forward.
