Popular Ghanaian comic actor, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng aka Funny Face has revealed some life lessons he learned the hard way when he was famous.
Funny Face disclosed in a recent interview with Delay that fame clouded his ability to reason and he took a decision that almost rendered him bankrupt for life.
The actor said one thing life filled with ‘stupid’ decisions has taught him is never to live a life to impress people.
Explaining what he means by ‘Stupid Decisions’ Funny Face said he once emptied his bank account to fuel his Range Rober just to prove to peers that he could maintain the vehicle.
He said he succumbed to peer pressure and wanted to prove himself after he was challenged that he could not maintain the Range Rover gift Adebayor gave to him.
According to him, he was bent on proving that the luxury vehicle was not above his standard and that dug a huge hole in his bank account.
The children’s president said he advised himself when he had an alert that he had no money left in his account.
Funny Face also shared stories of how he survived his manic attack and his plan to bounce back into the entertainment circles.
