Nana Ama McBrown was born Felicity Ama Agyemang in Kumasi to a Ghanaian mother known as Cecilia Agyenim Boateng and a Ghanaian father known as Kwabena Nkrumah.

She is a Ghanaian actress, TV presenter, and music writer.

She rose to fame after her role in the television series Tentacles. Her brand became a household name and she found mainstream success following her role in the Twi-language movie “Asoreba” and “Kumasi Yonko”.

She is currently the host of the television cooking show McBrown’s Kitchen and the entertainment talk show United Showbiz on UTV.

She revealed in an interview years later that the accident had her right hand stuck in between the car and its door, and when she successfully pulled out her hand, she saw that the bone was out and broken.

Mcbrown’s right arm has since been a problem as she frequents the hospital to treat it to date.
